Expedition Information

Angel Falls is the tallest waterfall in the world. The 3,212 foot-tall waterfall is located in the remote Venezuelan jungle. This beautiful area is a Venezuelan National Park.

This seven-day adventure is organized by Tom Sanders with the assistance of the local Venezuelan BASE jumpers. The trip to and from Angel Falls is an adventure in itself, with jet flights, helicopter flights and a jungle boat trip that will put us at the base of Angel Falls.

We will have a helicopter on location to fly us to the top of Angel Falls for legal BASE jumps! Two days are set aside for jumping (weather permitting), and with the helicopter, it only takes about three to four hours for everyone to get their jump. Non-jumpers are welcome.

This expedition is the 14th for Tom Sanders, who will be documenting the entire journey with stills and hi-def video. Each participant will get stills and video of their jumps. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own still and video cameras - for non commercial uses - however all commercial rights belong to Aerial Focus.

The seven-day trip includes the following:

- VIP attention by our Venezuelan hosts from arrival to departure thru Caracas Venezuela. This includes all travel arrangements, luggage transfers, hotel, food, soft drinks, (alcoholic beverages are extra) equipment and supplies, with everything brought to the remote jungle location by our guides.

• Lodging in Caracas and jungle camps.
• All meals prepared for us.
• Domestic flights.
• Helicopter for transportation, helicopter jump at first camp.
• River boat transportation.
• Permits for visiting and jumping at Angel Falls.
• Ground crew for assistance and rescue support, medical doctor.
• All logistic coordination in order to provide one helicopter jump and one BASE jump per person.
• Video of the expedition and photo of your jump.

Once a deposit is received you will receive a complete itinerary with travel options and items to bring etc.

Space is limited, we have always had a waiting list on every expedition so if you want to join this expedition reserve your space ASAP.

Non-jumpers are welcome and they will have a terrific time. The price is the same and they will be flown to the top of Angel Falls just like all the jumpers to view the Falls and the jumps.

Minimum Requirements for BASE jumping Angel Falls

No previous BASE experience or BASE specific equipment is required. 

500 jumps for canopy control skills OR OTHER PROOF OF ACCURACY SKILLS such as previous BASE jumps in tight areas will allow for waiving the 500 jump minimum.
The deposit is fully refundable if we cancel the trip, or if you cancel and we can fill your slot.

Space is limited to twenty-five participants.
