The "Roll Cage" is designed to protect the lens and body of your Sony PC-1, PC-3, PC-5, PC-7, PC-9, PC-10 or PC-100 video camera. The Roll Cage permits mounting the camera securely from either the top or bottom with up to 3 mounting screws, which when 2 or more are used prevents the possibility of the camera being bumped out of alignment. Another mounting hole is a standard 1/4" 20 thread which allows for easy mounting on a tripod mount or on many adjustable "Bogen" style heads. A Nikon sunshade can be attached to the roll cage to reduce sun glare and improve video quality as well as add additional protection for the lens. Easily mount the Sony PC-1, PC-3, PC-5, PC-7, PC-9, PC-10 or PC-100 cameras on the top or side of many types of helmets. All versions of the Roll Cage are in stock and ready to ship. Changing the tape, battery and access to the fire wire, S video connector and RCA cable output are all possible while the video camera is mounted in the Roll Cage. The Roll Cage is made of precision machined aluminum and has a black anodized finish. The total weight of the roll cage is only 10.8 ounces.
